Ingredients

  • • 1 kg minced beef or 500g beef 500g lamb
  • • 3 cloves of garlic
  • • 2cm cube size of ginger
  • • ½ diced onion
  • • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • • ½ tsp Himalayan crystal salt
  • • 1 cup grated hard cheese
  • • Butter or olive oil for frying
  • • Optional extras – ½ cup rosemary and ½ cup parsley chopped finely
  • • Remove garlic and onion for a fructose free version
Instructions
  1. Method
  2. Finely chop onion, garlic and ginger and fry in about 1 tbls of butter until soft and slightly brown
  3. Put raw meat into a bowl and add all other ingredients to it and mix well with your hands
  4. Combine all ingredients and mix with you hand until well combines
  5. A large egg ring can help to get a consistent shape – approximately palm size
  6. Cook in frypan in oil or butter until cooked through – approximately 5 - 6 min each side
  7. Serve with salad or vegetables
  8. burger is one portion
